is an art historian and expert in communication for the cultural sphere. Graduated in Cultural Heritage at the University of Udine and in Media Menagement and Event Organization at the Catholic University of Milan, she has collaborated in various contemporary art projects as curator and press and communication officer.
is an independent art curator and writer. He is interested in the interzone between ephemeral procedures and time-based media, and their relation to the historical developments of visual arts. In recent years, he has contributed to various publications, for museum institutions like GAM, Torino; PAC, Milan; MAMbo, Bologna; Papesse, Siena; Stedelijk Museum – De Appel, Amsterdam; Mucsarnòk, Budapest, and has lectured internationally in art institutions in Amsterdam, Antwerp, Belgrade, Brussels, Budapest, Frankfurt, Geneva, Ljubljana, London, Rotterdam, Utrecht, as well in various Postgraduate Art Academies (MAR – KABK – Den Haag; Studium Generale – Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam; HEAD, Geneva; HISK, Gent; Piet Zwart Institute, Rotterdam; DAI, Enschede; Jan van Eyck Academy, Maastricht). Currently he teaches at NABA, Milan, and at Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts, Genoa. He has curated mixed media projects like Split Subjects (De Appel, 2005), Figures of Excess (Beursschouwburg Brussel, 2006), Video.it (Fondazione Merz, Torino, & Careof, Milan, 2009-13), Fuoricornice/Off Screen (Theatre of Castello di Rivoli, 2010). Together with Francesco Poli, he has completed an historical survey in art spatial practices in the second half of the 20th century (Mettere in scena l’arte contemporanea).
is a curator and art critic. She collaborated with the Casorati Archive of Turin, the Alvar Aalto Museum in Pino Torinese and curator of the La Gaia di Busca Collection. He cured exhibition and editorial projects, the most recent of which are the exhibition and the Moving Tales catalog (Cuneo 2016 – Mousse Publishing 2016), the Corners / In Between exhibition (Norma Mangione gallery, Turin 2017), the exhibition at the Antonio Dalle Nogare Foundation (and the artist’s monograph) Landon Metz (Mousse Publishing 2016), the publication created for the Hans Schabus workshop / exhibition at Carico Massimo in Livorno (2017), the exhibition and the catalog Open Work, second edition of the exhibition cycle Courtesy Emilia Romagna, within ArteFiera Bologna 2020.
is an art historian and curator. She co-founded the curatorial collaboratives and union of artists, Clark House in Bombay (2010), and Blackrice in Tuensang (2007-08). She has worked at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya as the Curator of Indian Modern Art (2009-2011) and as Coordinator of Public Programs at the National Gallery of Modern Art Mumbai (2004-2005). In 2016, she curated ‘I love you Sugar Kane’ at the Institute of Contemporary Art Indian Ocean, Mauritius, and co-curated ‘Prabhakar Pachpute. No, it wasn’t the locust cloud’ in the Dome Gallery of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Mumbai; and the program of Clark House Bombay. Forthcoming in 2016, she will curate ‘An Error in Helsinki’ for Checkpoint Helsinki, and ‘Body Luggage’ the exhibition of the Steirischer Herbst Festival at the Kunsthaus Museum Graz, before coming to Pune to co-curate the Biennale in 2017. In 2016, her writing will appear in ’20th Century Indian Art’ (Skira), ‘The New Curator’ (Laurence King), ‘The Curatorial Conundrum’ (MIT Press), and ‘Curating Under Pressure’ (ifa, Goethe).
is an art historian and curator. He has collaborated with the Casabianca space in Bologna and with the UnDo.net site and currently with the University of Ferrara and the Graduate School of Art History of Bologna. From 2009 to 2012 he was director of Chiara Pergola’s Musée de l’OHM at the Medieval Civic Museum of Bologna. The latest projects are the “Tirarsi fuori” exhibition, curated with Lelio Aiello at the P420 gallery in Bologna, “The Franco Farina Collection” at Padiglione d’Arte Contemporanea in Ferrara and the contributions to the volume “Contemporary art in Ferrara” (edited by Ada Patrizia Fiorillo, University of Ferrara).
is an art historian and curator graduated in History of Modern Art from the University of Turin. She is the co-author of publications and research works, particularly on the themes related to cultural politics, the contemporary art system, public space and territory. Is a founding member of the curatorial independent project a.titolo. Between 2007 and 2014 she taught on the Master in Management, Marketing and Multimedia of Cultural Heritage and Activities in Corep (Politecnico, Turin). She was a contributor to the “La Stampa” daily newspaper as a contemporary art journalist until 2010. In 2013 she was appointed cultural mediator for the project Matera European Capital of Culture and performed planning and programming activities as part of this role. Since 2016 to 2019 she was the director of the artistic program for Fondazione Sardi per l’Arte. She collaborated with important institutions as the University of Turin, Merz Foundation, Gam Palermo and independent spaces. According to Lisa Parola, Quartz Studio’s intent is to provide art and artists space and concentration.
is a Research Fellow at IUAV, Venice. PhD in History of Art, he has been a Research Fellow and Post-graduate researcher at CSAC, University of Parma, institution with which he still collaborates. He is a professor for the video game screen writing course at the Accademia Santa Giulia in Brescia and Contemporary art Workshop at the University of Parma. He works as a curator at CSAC University of Parma and he curated exhibitions at Fondazione Cirulli, MSU Zagreb, MAXXI Rome and Galleria Niccoli, among others. He founded, together with Elisabetta Modena, the digital museum MoRE www.moremuseeum.org, an archive dedicated to unrealized contemporary art projects. In the field of communication he collaborated with institutions such as Fondazione Modena Arti Visive, Fondazione Cirulli, CSAC Parma.
is an independent curator and researcher based in New York. Segal holds a Ph.D. in hermeneutics and culture studies. Her practice is focused on curating, contextualizing and producing new media and performance work. Segal collaborated with Palais De Tokyo, Paris, Performa NYC, BAM New York, Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago, Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Kunstverein Nürnberg, Kunst Werke, Berlin, Moco Montpellier and Castello di Rivoli, among others. Currently she is a visiting scholar at NYU Tisch department of performance studies, She is a teaches a visiting faculty at VCU; and Faculty at SVA Curatorial studies department, NYC. She is the Curator of 2020 Aurora Biennial in Dallas TX.
